Wix Horizontal Scroll Hacks That Will Change Your Wix Website Forever

To add a horizontal scroll effect to your Wix site, access your Wix editor. I'm currently using the Wix Studio. Then, click on the link in the description box below to add the Wix Studio horizontal scroll library to your account.



Once you've clicked on that link in the description box below, click on "Accept Library." As you can see over here on the "Add Elements" tab under the "Asset" section, you have horizontal scroll in your library.


If we click on that, we can then see the horizontal scroll section in action. All you need to do is click on it to add it to your Wix Studio site.


Then, all you have to do is edit the elements within this horizontal scroll to make it look the way you wish. For example, you can change the text to say something else, such as "Scroll Effect." You can change the font size to make it smaller. You can change the color to another color of your choice.


You can change the background image to one from "Media from Wix," to an image from Shutterstock, or even to an image from Unsplash. I'll click on "Media from Wix," select one of the images, and then click on "Update." I'll then change the background color to something else, and you can continue doing so until you've customized all of the elements on this page.


To make sure that the Wix horizontal scroll effect is added to this Wix container, click on the image, click on "Animations and Effects," locate where it says "Scroll," click on it, and then click on "Add." Select the "Move Horizontal Scroll" animation, and then click on "Adjust Animation" at the bottom. Change the angle moving in to 270°.


The same goes with this other container. Click on it, click on "Animations and Effects," click on "Scroll," click on "Add." Under "Scrolling Will Trigger an Animation," select "Move" and then click on "Adjust Animation" at the bottom. Make sure that the angle moving in is set to 270° again.


To see this Wix horizontal scroll animation in action, click on "Preview" up top and then scroll down your site. As you can see, there is a horizontal scroll. Once you're done customizing your Wix horizontal scroll, click on "Publish" on the top right-hand side to make your changes active.
