Webinar Tutorial: How To Join Webinar Meeting + How To Attend Webinars On Zoom App

To join a webinar meeting and attend a webinar meeting from the Zoom app, you'll first need the meeting details, including the Zoom webinar meeting ID and passcode if it has one. Then, all you have to do is open up the Zoom app, either on your phone or on your iPad, and click on "Join Meeting."

Type in the meeting ID (in our case 7956 56 4788), type in your name in the space provided (I'll just add Marina), and then click on "Join." Since the Zoom meeting has a passcode, go ahead and enter that.

We can see that this meeting's passcode is VD VW 6K, and then click on "Continue." As you can see from the Zoom app, we're now waiting for the host to start this meeting.

While the Zoom host's meeting is in action over on the Zoom app, you can then click to hear others by joining audio with Wi-Fi or cellular data, or by not joining audio. I'm going to go ahead and select Wi-Fi or cellular data, and now I'll be a part of the Zoom meeting.

Just like with any regular Zoom meeting, we can click on the screen and then on the options that appear at the bottom to customize your Zoom app experience further. This includes the option to mute or unmute your microphone, start or stop your video, view the webinar participants, access the Zoom webinar chat, add Zoom webinar reactions, share your screen if the host allows this option, access the Whiteboard, access the Zoom webinar notes, access the Zoom webinar apps to personalize your experience, as well as access even more settings including the meeting settings, backgrounds and effects, and the option to disconnect audio.

Up top, you're able to click on "Zoom" to view the meeting details, including the meeting ID, the host, the passcode, invite link, your participant ID, and the encryption. And once you're ready to leave the Zoom meeting from the Zoom app, click on "Leave" on the top right-hand side, and then on leave meeting.
