iPad Screen Recording: Record iPad Screens With The iPad Hack Of The Year

Wondering how to screen record on iPad? In this iPad tutorial, you'll learn an iPad hack and iPad trick to record your iPad screen. So let's get right into this screen recording tutorial on how to record screen on iPad with sound and without sound, which works on the iPad Pro, iPad air and iPad mini.

So the first thing we need to do is activate the screen recording option on your iPad. To do so, click on settings, scroll down to control center, and click on customize controls. As you can see, I have already added the screen recording option on my iPad to my control center. Yours will probably be in this more controls section, so just click on the plus sign next to it, to add screen recording on your iPad to your control center, like I did with the accessibility shortcuts.

Now drag your iPad screen down to access your control center. The screen recording icon on your iPad, which is this circle within a circle, is now there. To start a new screen recording on your iPad without sound, which is the default option, all you have to do is click on the circle within a circle icon (the screen recording icon).

But if you want to create a new screen recording on your iPad with sound, click and hold the screen recording button. Here you’ll find all the apps on your iPad that allow for screen recording, as well as an option to turn your microphone on or off.

To start your new screen recording on your iPad, with or without sound, go ahead and click on start recording. There will be a 3, 2, 1 countdown, and you’ll know your recording started once you see either a red banner on top of your IPad, or once your clock is red, like mine is right now.

When you want to stop recording your iPad screen, all you have to do is click on the red banner or on the red clock, and then on stop on the popup that’ll appear. Once you have stopped your iPad screen recording, the footage will be saved in your photos.
