How to Create Pins on Pinterest that GO VIRAL

We'll be going through the entire process of creating viral Pinterest pins using just Tailwind. Once you've logged into your Tailwind account, click on Pinuler from the left-hand side panel. Up top, click on "Design Pins."



I'll be creating new Pinterest pins to promote this YouTube video on how to use DME stickers on Instagram Stories. The first thing I'll do is copy the title of this video I want to create a viral pin for. Heading back to Tailwind, under this text section, I'll paste the title text. If you wish, you can also customize the font that this text will be in.


Now, let's click on "Branding" and make sure that "Website or Brand Name" is selected. Heading over to "Photos," up top, click on "Stock Photos." On the right, in the search bar, type in something that relates to the topic of your Pinterest pin. In my case, I'll type in "Instagram" and then click on Enter or Return.


Scroll down the available options and choose an image that best represents your Pinterest pin, such as this one over here. Once you've selected your stock photo, head back to where it says "Site Photos," click on "Color Palettes," and select the photo's colors as your main color palette.


Now, over here on the right, scroll down until you find a Pinterest pin that catches your attention, such as this one over here. Click on "Select" at the bottom.


Now let's repeat the same process so that we create three Pinterest pins in total. Let's head over to "Photos" → "Stock Photos," delete the current photo we just used, and select another photo for our Pinterest pin. Let's say I want to select this one over here. Click on that, head over to "Site Photos" → "Color Palettes," change the color palette to the image’s main colors, and then let's select another Pinterest pin template that catches our attention, such as this one over here.


A cool Tailwind feature is that you can click on "Shuffle Colors" at the bottom to change the colors of this Pinterest pin to other ones that still match the color palette. Let's say I enjoyed this one over here, so let's click on "Select" at the bottom.


Let's repeat the same process one last time. Click on "Photos," delete the photo we currently have, click on "Stock Photos" on the right, scroll down until we find another photo that catches our attention, such as this one over here. Click on "Site Photos" → "Color Palettes," change the color palette to the photo's main colors, and then scroll down on the right until we find one last Pinterest pin that catches our attention, such as this one over here. Let's click on "Select" and now click on "Review Designs" at the bottom on the right-hand side.

Here we have our three viral Pinterest pins. The best part is that we don't need to leave Tailwind in order to schedule them. Just click on "Go Schedule" on the right. Make sure that your Pinterest account is connected to Tailwind. If not, click on "Add Pinterest Account" and then click on "Confirm."


A great feature about Tailwind is that you don't need to worry about the content of your Pinterest pin. Using AI, you can create viral pin titles and pin descriptions directly from Tailwind using Ghost Writer. Let me show you how Ghost Writer works. Let's click on "Ghost Writer" on this first Pinterest pin. Select what you're posting about — in my case, informational content. In the space provided, add a title — in my case, that's the title of my YouTube video. I'll copy this over on YouTube, head back to Tailwind, and paste that in the space provided.


If you wish, you can also add keywords or phrases. I'll select that, head back to my YouTube video description, scroll down until I reach the tag section, and copy all of those. Once those are copied, I'll head back to Tailwind and paste those in the space provided. You can also add a call to action if you wish. I'll select that option, type in "Click to watch now," and then click on "Generate Pin Details" at the bottom.


With each Tailwind AI credit, you get three different options of pin titles and pin descriptions. And that's exactly why we're creating three Pinterest pins — because with one AI credit, we can get three different optimized pin titles and pin descriptions.


Make sure that you read through the pin titles and pin descriptions first to ensure that they relate to the topic of your Pinterest pin. And if for any reason you don't enjoy the pin titles and pin description that Tailwind came up with, you can also click on "Try Again" at the bottom, and Tailwind will generate three new Pinterest pin titles and pin descriptions for yet another AI credit.


So let's go ahead and copy the second one into a word processor, as well as a third one. Back in Tailwind, make sure that the first pin title and pin descriptions are selected, and then click on "Save Details" at the bottom.


Now head over to our word processor, copy the second pin title, paste that in the space provided, and follow the same process until all of the pin titles and pin descriptions are added to my Pinterest pins.


Now here's another cool feature about Tailwind — you can bulk edit these Pinterest pins in order to save you time. So let's go ahead and click on "Bulk Edit" and paste the same website URL in the space provided. Since these three Pinterest pins are promoting the exact same YouTube video, I'm going to head over to my YouTube video details, copy the video’s link, and paste that where it says "Website URL."


The same thing goes for the boards you'll be adding your Pinterest pin to. I'm going to type in "Instagram" and include all of the Instagram-related boards that I want these Pinterest pins to be pinned to. You can either add individual boards or save board lists if you have them in Tailwind. These boards can be your own or also group boards.


Once you've bulked the Pinterest pins, click on "Apply Changes to Selected Pins" at the bottom. One way to get these Pinterest pins to go viral is to add them to Tailwind Communities. So let's go ahead and click on "Add Pin to Communities" at the bottom. Select which Tailwind communities you want to add this pin to, and then click on "Add to Communities."


Once you've done that, your content will have been submitted and will be visitable to community members once the original pin has been published on Pinterest. Let's click on "Close" and repeat the same process for the other two Pinterest pins.

All right, so now to schedule these Pinterest pins, head over to where it says "Interval" and click on that. Select an interval, which is the minimum days between pins — these can be either daily, 2 to 6 days, weekly, or even monthly. And then select when to pin your Pinterest pin to the first board. You can either select the next open time slot or go through your calendar and select any date or time that you wish. I'll select the next open time slot and then click on "Save" and then on "Schedule."


I'll repeat the same process for the other two Pinterest pins. Click on "Interval," select the next open time slot, and then click on "Save and Schedule." Since I don't want this Pinterest pin to be saved on the same date as the previous one, this time I'll click on "Interval," select a specific date and time, click on "Save," and then on "Schedule."
