Canva Website Tutorial For Creating STUNNING Sites

To create a website in Canva, log into your Canva account and then click on the search bar and search for "Website." Once that option populates, click on it. Canva offers a number of beautiful website templates to help you design a beautiful website for any business, portfolio, event, organization, and more. These are all professionally designed and free to use.

Once you've located a website template in Canva that you enjoy, click on it. We can then view more templates that are similar to the one you selected or click on "Customize This Template" to start editing it. This will open up the Canva website editor.

Just like with any regular Canva design, you can click on any of the existing elements on the website to change them. These include the images, text, and colors. If you wish to add another page to your Canva website, click on "Add Page" at the bottom.

From here, we can choose the options from the left-hand side panel to continue customizing your website. Let's click on "Design" and then choose the same website template or choose another website design for the second page. We can then click on the text to change its font, click on the colors, and then on the Color Picker to change the color, as well as change the images to something else if you so wish.

If you wish to link this text, for instance, select it, click on the link option, and then, where it says "Pages in This Document," click on the other page and then "Done." You can also click on "Elements" to add new shapes, buttons, an image, graphics generated with AI, stickers, photos, videos, charts, tables, frames, grids, mockups, and collections to your Canva website. The same goes with text, uploads, drawings, projects, and other apps.

Once you're done creating your Canva website, you can click on "Preview" up top to view what your Canva website looks like, as well as to see if all of the links are actually working. You can toggle up top to view the mobile view versus the desktop view of your website. The options at the bottom allow you to resize on mobile or not, as well as the option to include a navigation menu or not. Let's include one.

Once you're done creating and customizing your Canva website, click on "Publish" on the top right-hand side where it says "Publish Website." Here, you'll be able to see your website URL, as well as your subpath and other published settings, including the website description, if you so wish to include it, and other advanced settings such as password protection, search engine visibility, and link preview.

Once you're done customizing all of these options, click on "Publish Website" to make your Canva website active.
