Canva Pro Pricing: How Much Is Canva Pro And Is It Worth It To Upgrade To Canva Pro?

Wondering how much Canva Pro is and whether Canva Pro is worth the price? In this Canva Pro pricing tutorial, you’ll learn whether it’s worth it to upgrade to Canva Pro.

Canva is an online graphic design tool that helps you market your business to the world. If you don’t have a Canva account yet, just click on the link in the description box below to sign up for free.

Canva offers two plans: Canva free and Canva Pro. With the Canva free plan, you get access to over 250,000 free templates, over 100 design types, including social media posts, presentations, letters, and more, hundreds of thousands of free photos and graphics, the ability to invite members to your team, collaborate and comment in real-time, as well as 5GB of cloud storage.

Canva Pro is the premium and paid version of Canva, and can be used whether you’re one person or a small team. Canva Pro costs $12.99 per month per person when paid month to month, or $9.99 per month per person when opting for an annual plan.

If you’ve got a large team which needs advanced controls to collaborate and publish on-brand designs at scale, such as organizations, businesses, franchises, and agencies, you can opt for a Canva Enterprise plan, which costs $30 per month per person.

If you are a student, teacher or nonprofit, you may be eligible for special pricing or a free subscription of Canva Pro.

Independent of whether you opt for a Canva Pro or Canva Enterprise plan, you can view Canva’s pricing plans for teams of 5, 10, and 15 people, or even select ‘custom’ to get a Canva Pro pricing quote that’s specific to your needs.

Canva Pro comes with everything in Canva free, plus the ability to create 1 brand kit and upload your own fonts and logos. To do so, in your Canva account, click on ‘brand kit’ from the left-hand side panel.

You can click on the plus sign below brand logos to add your own logo to Canva, click on the plus sign below brand colors to add your own colors to Canva, or even click on ‘add and discover palettes’ to get Canva to customize color palettes for you, click on the pencil icons below brand fonts to customize the headings, subheadings, and body font and size of your Canva designs, and click on ‘upload a font’ below the uploaded fonts section to add your own fonts to Canva.

One-click magic resize. To access this feature, open up any Canva design that you’ve already created and that you wish to resize into another dimension. Click on ‘resize’ from the panel up top, and then either select another design type from the available options, such as Facebook post, Instagram post, or worksheet, or select a custom size of your choice, and then click on ‘copy and resize’.

Canva will automatically copy your original design and resize it so that it’s in the new dimensions that you chose. You can either download the design as is, or edit the design first so that the elements on the page better fit with the new design size.

Over 420,000 free templates with new designs daily. To access them, you can search for a new design type in Canva that you wish to create from the suggested options, or by using the search bar up top, and then click on any of the designs, such as Instagram post, to view the available Canva templates.

Alternatively, you can open up a Canva design that you’ve already created, and click on ‘templates’ from the left-hand side panel to change your current Canva template to any other template of your choice.

Over 75 million premium stock photos, videos, audio and graphics free-to-use. To access them, open up any Canva design that you’ve already created, and click on ‘photos’, ‘vidoes’, ‘audio’, or ‘graphics’ from the left-hand side panel, and drag-and-drop any element of your choice onto your design. To view the elements which are solely available for Canva Pro users, click on the filter next to the search bar, and under the ‘availability’ section, click on ‘pro’.

Save designs as templates for your team to use. To do so, open up any Canva design that you’ve already created and that you wish to transform into a template. Click on the three little dots on the top, right-hand side, and scroll down within the ‘share’ section until you reach the ‘template’ icon. Click on that, select a folder where you wish to publish your Canva template to, and then click on ‘publish template’.

Schedule social media content to seven platforms. These platforms are Pinterest, Facebook (Page or Group), Slack, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram Business, and LinkedIn (Profile or Page).

There are two ways that you can do schedule social media content. The first way is by clicking on ‘content planner’ from the left-hand side panel in your Canva account. Scroll to the date which you wish to schedule a social media post, and then click on the plus sign on the top, right-hand side of that date. You can either select a social media design that you already created in Canva to schedule, or view Canva social media templates to create a new design from scratch.

Once you’ve selected a social media post to schedule directly from Canva, you can click on the three little dots to change the publish date and time, edit the design, make a copy of the design, or make a copy of the design and resize, select or add a new social media platform to schedule your post to, select whether you wish to save your design as a PNG or as a GIF, add a title, description and destination website. Once you’re done making changes, you can either schedule the post to be published, or save it as a draft.

The second way you can schedule social media content from Canva directly to your social media platforms is directly on a Canva design you already created. Click on the three little dots on the top, right-hand side, and then on ‘schedule’. Select the date and time which you wish to schedule your social media post, and then click on ‘next.

Just as before, select or add a new social media platform to schedule your post to, select whether you wish to save your design as a PNG or as a GIF, add a title, description and destination website. Once you’re done making changes, you can either schedule the post to be published, or save it as a draft.

One-click photo background remover. To access this feature, open up any Canva design that you’ve already created which contains the photo you wish to remove the background of, or create a new Canva design in the dimensions of your choice, and either upload the photo, by clicking on ‘uploads’ from the left-hand side panel, ‘upload media’, and select where you wish to upload the photo from: device, Facebook, Google Drive, Instagram or Dropbox. Alternatively, you can add a photo directly from Canva to remove the background of.

Once you’ve opened or located the photo of your choice, drag-and-drop it onto your Canva design. Click on the design at large, and then on ‘effects’ up top. Click on ‘background remover’, and in just one click the background from your image will be removed. If you wish, you can further edit your design by using the erase and restore brushes.

Download designs with a transparent background and customize download quality. To do so, click on the downward pointing arrow to download your design. Make sure that the design type is set to PNG. Click on transparent background to save any white space that’s part of your image as transparent, compress the file so that it’s lower quality, or even change the design size, and then click on ‘download’.
