To add a video to your Wix website, first click on the Pages drop-down menu within your Wix editor. Click on Manage Pages and either locate the page you want to add a video on or click on Add New Page at the bottom to add a new page where you'll then add the video.
When asked, choose your starting point. Click on Add an Element and then click on Video Player. From here, we can easily change the video to add one of our own. You can select a video from your computer, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Dailymotion, or Twitch.
I'll go ahead and click on YouTube, paste in the space provided the video's web address, and then select the playback options. You can select whether you wish the Wix video to autoplay or not, as well as whether you want it to play in a loop or not. You can also add a video description if you so wish, such as, "This video is all about Wix video."
If you want to add this video over here as a video background in Wix, locate these two arrows on the top right-hand side of the Wix video and then click on them to stretch the video. From the Wix video's individual toolbar, you can also click on Layout to select whether you wish the controls to show on hover or never, to add a comment to your Wix video, access Wix video help, and when you click on the three little dots, you can then click to unstretch the Wix video, cut it, copy it, paste it, copy the Wix element design, duplicate it, hide it, delete it, access the editor add-ons, align your Wix video to the left, center, right, top, middle, or bottom, add an anchor to your Wix video, add a comment, save the Wix video as an asset, as well as add code.
Once you're done adding the Wix video to your Wix website, click on Publish on the top right-hand side to make your changes active.
